Education boards have proposed publishing HSC and equivalent exam results between October 25-29, affecting over 12 lakh students including many from Atrai.

The results of this year's Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations are expected to be published between October 25-29, according to education board officials. Professor Syed Akhtaruzzaman, chairman of the Dhaka Education Board and president of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee, confirmed that education boards have proposed this five-day window to the Ministry of Education for approval.

This year's HSC and equivalent examinations began on July 2 and concluded on August 8, 2026. A total of 12,70,583 candidates, including both regular and irregular students, registered for the examinations across 11 education boards - nine general education boards, the Madrasa Education Board, and the Technical Education Board. The exams were held at 2,697 exam centres across Bangladesh.

Students from Atrai Upazila and the broader Naogaon district who appeared for the HSC exams will be among those anxiously awaiting their results. The HSC examination is a crucial milestone in Bangladesh's education system, determining students' eligibility for university admissions and higher education opportunities. Results are graded on a GPA scale of 1.00 to 5.00.

Once the Ministry of Education approves the final date, students will be able to check their results online through the official website educationboardresults.gov.bd or via SMS by sending their board code, roll number, and year to 16222. The exact publication date within the proposed window will be announced soon by the education ministry.
