According to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department's forecast for Wednesday, July 22, 2026, light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty winds may occur at many places in Rajshahi division, which includes Atrai Upazila in Naogaon district.
The meteorological department reports that the monsoon axis extends through several states and the southern part of Bangladesh to Assam, with the monsoon remaining active over the southern part of the country and fairly active elsewhere. The monsoon is in a moderate state over the northern Bay of Bengal.
While heavy to very heavy rainfall warnings have been issued for Barishal and Chattogram divisions in the southern and southeastern regions, Rajshahi division is expected to see lighter rainfall patterns.
