According to the Met office bulletin, light to moderate rain and thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty winds are likely to occur at most places over Rajshahi division. The department has specifically warned that moderately heavy to very heavy rainfall may occur at places over the division, which includes all areas of Naogaon district.
The weather system is part of a broader pattern affecting six divisions across Bangladesh, including Rangpur, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Chattogram, and Sylhet.
